How can I notify Indiana of my change of address?
To notify the Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) of your change of address, you have several options:
Online (Recommended)
- Log in to your INTIME (Indiana Taxpayer Information Management Engine) account.
- Go to the “All Actions” tab and select “Manage Names & Addresses.”
- Choose the address you want to update and enter your new address.
- For guidance, refer to the INTIME User Guide for Individual Tax Customers.
By Fax
- Fax your request to 317-615-2608.
- Include your Social Security number, old address, new address, and signature.
By Mail
- Mail your request to:

- Include your Social Security number, old address, new address, and signature.
In Person
- Visit one of the DOR District Offices.

- Bring your Social Security number, old address, and new address.
Note: You must also update your address with the IRS using Form 8822 if you are changing your address for federal tax purposes.
