Missouri Trust Fund Donations

Missouri residents filing their state tax returns have the opportunity to contribute to various trust funds that support important community programs. These donations are voluntary and can be made directly through the Missouri state tax form, MO-1040, or its simplified version, MO-1040A.

Available Trust Funds

Donors can choose to contribute to a range of trust funds, including:

  • Veterans Trust Fund – Supports services for veterans in Missouri. Minimum donation: $2 (or $4 if married filing jointly).
  • Workers’ Childhood Trust Fund – Supports children of workers.
  • Missouri Military Family Relief Fund – Provides assistance to military families.
  • Elderly Home Delivered Meals – Helps deliver meals to elderly residents.
  • Organ Donor Program Fund – Supports organ donation initiatives.
  • Kansas City Regional Law Enforcement Memorial Fund – Honors law enforcement officers.
  • Soldiers Memorial Military Museum in St. Louis Fund – Supports military history preservation.
  • Medal of Honor Foundation Fund – Supports recipients of the Medal of Honor.
  • General Revenue Fund – Supports general state revenue needs.

How to Donate

Donations can be made by entering the appropriate two-digit fund code and amount on Line 50 of Form MO-1040 or Line 16 of Form MO-1040A. If you wish to donate to more than two funds, you must submit a direct contribution to the respective fund.
