Oklahoma Payment Options
Oklahoma residents have several options for making state income tax payments. The Oklahoma Tax Commission provides multiple methods to ensure taxpayers can fulfill their obligations conveniently and securely.
Electronic Payment Options
Taxpayers can make payments electronically through the Oklahoma Tax Commission’s online portal, OKTAP. This service is available 24/7 and allows for fast, free payments. For more information, visit OKTAP.
Payment Voucher (Form 511-V)
If you are filing a paper return or need to mail a payment, you can use Form 511-V, the Oklahoma Income Tax Payment Voucher. This form should be completed and mailed along with your payment to the address specified on the voucher. Do not staple or attach the payment to the form—place them loose in the envelope.
Important: Do not enclose a payment with Form 511-EF or any other form unless specifically instructed. Use Form 511-V for all mailed payments.
Payment with Form EF-V
For corporate or business taxpayers, Form EF-V is used to send in tax payments. Cut the form along the dotted line and submit the bottom portion with your payment. Do not include a copy of the income tax return. The income tax return must already be filed before using this form.
Software-Assisted Filing
When using tax preparation software for your Oklahoma state return, the software can generate Form 511-V automatically if you owe taxes. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete and submit your payment.
Important Notes
- Do not include a copy of your income tax return with your payment unless specifically required.
- Payments should be made using Form 511-V for individual taxpayers or Form EF-V for business taxpayers.
- Electronic payments are encouraged for speed and convenience.
- Always verify payment instructions with the official Oklahoma Tax Commission resources.
