On Schedule C, Part V, Line 48, you report "Other Expenses," which includes all ordinary and necessary business expenses not deducted elsewhere on the form. These expenses must be directly related to your trade or business and cannot include personal, living, or family expenses; charitable contributions; fines or penalties; or the cost of business equipment, furniture, or permanent property improvements. - Amortization, bad debts, business startup costs, film production expenses, forestation costs, etc.: These are specifically listed as allowable under Part V, Line 48, as long as they meet the ordinary and necessary criteria.
