How to add Social Security Number ?
Software can guide you through how to add Social Security Number while filing your tax return using our Software. To add Social Security Number in the software, follow these steps:
- From within your tax return (Online), in the left menu (for mobile devices, tap the three dots in the top-right corner to see more options), click on My Info.
- If you are navigating the tax return for the first time, the Social Security Number option is available on the Taxpayer Information, Spouse Information, and Dependent Information pages.
- You can enter the Social Security Number there.
- Otherwise, under the Personal information checklist, click Show more next to Taxpayer Information, Spouse Information, or Dependent Information, then click Edit next to Social Security Number.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
